Anthony Raffo is a head chef with over twenty years of experience in the kitchen, celebrated for his modern British cooking that features a seasonal, creative edge. His career has taken him through prominent kitchens in the UK, France, and the Channel Islands, where he has built a reputation for precise technique, bold flavours, and a deep respect for British produce. 


As the culinary force behind Anglo in Farringdon, Anthony led the restaurant to earn 3 AA Rosettes, a Michelin Plate, a Harden’s Top 20 ranking, and two Green Circles in the 360 Guide, showcasing recognition for both quality and sustainability. 


Anthony Raffo’s cooking is deeply rooted in British produce, fermentation, and preservation, utilising simple ideas executed well, with layers of thought behind them. His food is honest, considered, and quietly confident, the type of cooking that rewards attention without demanding it.
